Implants

If missing a single tooth with healthy surrounding teeth, 1 single implant can be placed into either your upper or lower jaw. A fixed single crown then gets screwed into the implants anywhere from 3-6 months later.

2-4 implants placed into upper and/or lower jaw bone. A conventional denture will then be converted into an overdenture and will snap onto the implants INSTEAD of screwing into the implants. This achieves moderate stabilization of the prosthesis.

4-6 implants placed into upper and/or lower jaw bone in order to replace all the missing teeth on a specific arch. A single fixed hybrid denture is then screwed into the implants achieving maximum stabilization of the prosthesis.

Ridge Augmentations

A ridge augmentation is a common dental procedure often performed following a tooth extraction. This procedure helps recreate the natural contour of the gums and jaw that may have been lost due to bone loss from a tooth extraction, or for another reason.

The maxillary sinuses are behind your cheeks and on top of the upper teeth. These sinuses are empty, air-filled spaces. Some of the roots of the natural upper teeth extend up into the maxillary sinuses. When these upper teeth are removed there is often just a thin wall of bone separating the maxillary sinus and the mouth. Dental implants need bone to hold them in place. When the sinus wall is very thin, it is impossible to place dental implants in this bone. By performing a sinus lift, we are able to place implants where we would not normally be able to.

Simple

When a tooth is removed with NO additional procedures.

These can be performed during third molar extraction procedures, loose baby teeth, failing adult teeth that present with periodontal disease or active dental caries.

Surgical

When additional procedures are required to remove a tooth.

These can be performed on anyone that has a tooth that is not able to be extracted with ‘ease’. And there are a lot of differing factors that consider a tooth to be surgically extracted.

3rd molar (wisdom) Teeth Extractions

When orthodontic treatment is completed or another indication for removal of wisdom teeth, we are able to perform this procedure in our office. We are UNABLE to do sedation, so you will have to be awake the whole procedure.
